Frequently asked questions

How do I get SCP-1471 to spawn?
Craft or find a Phone item, then install the MalO software on it. After that, either view an image of SCP-1471 or sleep in a bed to trigger the entity's first appearance.
What happens if I look directly at SCP-1471?
SCP-1471 will immediately disappear when you look directly at it, but it will typically reappear nearby after a short time.
Can I kill SCP-1471?
No, SCP-1471 cannot be killed or contained—it will teleport away and continue stalking you regardless of what you do to it.
How do I get rid of SCP-1471 permanently?
The only permanent way to stop SCP-1471 is to die; after you respawn, the stalking behavior resets and you'll need to trigger it again by viewing its image or sleeping.
Does SCP-1471 actually attack me?
No, SCP-1471 does not deal damage or attack directly—it only stalks and watches you from a distance to create psychological horror.
What's the point of the Phone item?
The Phone is required to install the MalO software, which is what actually triggers SCP-1471's spawning when combined with viewing its image or sleeping.
Can I uninstall the MalO software to stop SCP-1471?
Once MalO is installed and SCP-1471 has spawned, uninstalling the software will not stop it from stalking you—only death will reset the encounter.
How far away can SCP-1471 follow me?
SCP-1471 will disappear if you travel too far away from it, but it will reappear nearby shortly after, so distance is only a temporary escape.
Does this mod cause lag or performance issues?
The mod is generally lightweight, but constant entity spawning and despawning may impact performance on lower-end systems—disable the mod if you experience significant lag.
Will SCP-1471 spawn if I don't want it to?
Only if you install MalO software on the Phone and then view SCP-1471's image or sleep; simply having the mod installed won't trigger it without these steps.
