More Beautiful Pressure Plates Wiki & Guide

First, craft a Pressure Plate Frame using the crafting recipe shown in the mod wiki. Once you have the frame, place it in a crafting grid with almost any block to create a pressure plate made from that block.

You can make pressure plates from almost all blocks in the game, including decorative blocks, ores, and even special blocks like fire and portal blocks. Some blocks may not be compatible, but the vast majority will work.

Yes, if you craft a pressure plate using a light-emitting block like glowstone or sea lantern, the resulting pressure plate will emit light at the same level as the original block.

Fire and portal pressure plates are special variants added by this mod that can be crafted directly. They function like normal pressure plates but use fire or portal block textures and properties.

Yes, all pressure plates created with this mod function identically to vanilla pressure plates—they activate redstone when entities stand on them and deactivate when they leave.

No, the Pressure Plate Frame is consumed in the crafting recipe each time you make a pressure plate, so you'll need to craft a new frame for each plate you want to create.

Yes, custom pressure plates output redstone signals just like vanilla pressure plates, so they work with all redstone devices and contraptions.

Compatibility depends on the specific mod, but many modded blocks will work with the Pressure Plate Frame since the mod is designed to work with most blocks in the game.

Custom pressure plates have minimal performance impact since they function like standard pressure plates; however, using many light-emitting pressure plates together may have a slight effect on lighting calculations.

You must craft each pressure plate individually using the Pressure Plate Frame and a block, so there's no bulk crafting method—plan accordingly when building large decorative floors.
