Frequently asked questions

How do I check which body parts are injured?
Press the O key to open your Character screen, where you'll see health bars for each limb (head, torso, arms, and legs) along with any active status effects like bleeding or fractures.
What happens if my head or torso reaches 0 health?
You die instantly, even if your other limbs are at full health—these vital parts cannot be healed and losing them is fatal.
How do I fix a broken limb?
Craft an Emergency Surgery Kit, then hold right-click on the broken limb for about 15 seconds to fully repair it.
Why am I moving so slow and hungry all the time?
If your legs are damaged, you'll move slower, and if your stomach is damaged, you'll lose hunger faster—you need to heal these specific limbs to restore normal function.
