Because MaLiLib provides keybind handling for dependent mods, many of your in-game hotkeys actually route through it. When two mods want the same key, you get a conflict, and one of them silently stops working.
Locating the Keybind Entries
Open the Controls menu and scroll through the categories. MaLiLib-dependent mods register their own keybinds, often grouped under the mod's name rather than under MaLiLib. Look for entries related to the mod you installed alongside MaLiLib, such as toggles for overlays, tools, or config screens.
Resolving Conflicts
If a key is already bound to something else, the Controls menu will
highlight it in red or show a conflict warning. Click the entry, press a new key, and confirm. Avoid binding mod hotkeys to keys you use constantly for movement or inventory, since you will trigger them accidentally.
Testing Your Bindings
After rebinding, return to the game and press each key to confirm it does what you expect. If a key does nothing, check whether the dependent mod is enabled and whether the feature it controls is turned on in that mod's config screen. A working keybind with a disabled feature will appear broken even though MaLiLib is handling the input correctly.
