Frequently asked questions

How do I use the Magic Mirror?
Hold the mirror in your hand and right-click (or use your item-use key) to teleport to your spawn point. The teleport happens instantly, so make sure you're not standing somewhere dangerous before you activate it.
What's the difference between the Magic Mirror and the Ice Magic Mirror?
Both teleport you to your spawn point, but the Ice Magic Mirror is the upgraded version with a shorter cooldown between uses. If you plan to teleport often, the Ice variant is worth the extra crafting cost.
How do I craft a Magic Mirror?
You'll need to gather the required materials shown in the crafting recipe and arrange them in the correct pattern on a crafting table. Check the Items section of this wiki for the exact recipe layout.
Why isn't my Magic Mirror teleporting me?
The most common cause is that the mirror is on cooldown from a recent use, so wait for it to finish before trying again. Also make sure you're actually holding the mirror and not a different item in your offhand or hotbar.
