The whole point of Inventory HUD+ is instant gear awareness, but the panel is only useful if you know what each element is telling you before it breaks.
Armor and Held Item
Armor pieces are shown as icons with their remaining durability. Watch for the bar or color shift that signals a piece is close to breaking — that is your cue to swap or repair before a fight turns bad. The held tool or weapon shows its own durability separately, so you can track a pickaxe or sword without opening your inventory.
Using It in Practice
Glance at the panel when you take a big hit or after mining a long stretch. If a piece is nearly gone, retreat and repair rather than pushing forward. In PvP, the durability readout lets you decide whether to keep trading hits or disengage.
You can hide elements you do not need so the critical ones stand out. If the panel feels
cluttered, disable the item rows and keep only armor and tool durability visible. Practice reading it in a low-risk area first so the glance becomes automatic.
