By default the panel shows a set of key inventory items, but you can decide exactly which slots and stacks are tracked so the display matches how you play.

Opening the Config

Go to the mod list, select Inventory HUD+, and open its configuration screen. The options are grouped by element: armor, held item, and the inventory item rows. Each group has toggles for visibility and, for the item rows, controls for which inventory positions are mirrored.

Choosing Your Items

Think about what you check most often — food, blocks, potions, arrows. Enable those positions and disable the rest. A shorter list is faster to read and leaves more screen free. If you play multiple roles, you may prefer a minimal setup and rely on the armor and durability readouts instead.

Save or apply the changes, then reload the world so the panel rebuilds. Verify in a test world that the correct stacks are mirrored and that nothing important is hidden. Revisit the config whenever your playstyle changes, such as switching from building to combat.
