How do I pick up items with this mod?
Open your inventory with E, then look at the Vicinity column on the left side of the screen. Click on any dropped item listed there to move it into your inventory or hands slot.
Why aren't items going into my inventory automatically?
The mod disables automatic item pickup by design—this is the core survival mechanic. You must manually interact with items through the Vicinity menu instead of walking over them.
How do I access chests and barrels without closing my inventory?
All nearby containers appear as clickable selectors in the Vicinity column. Click the container icon to expand an inline slot drawer directly on your screen without closing the inventory menu.
What's the hands slot for?
The Hands panel mirrors whichever item you have active on your hotbar, displaying it at larger scale with a name banner. This shows what you're currently holding without switching screens.
