The overlay appears in a default corner as soon as you load a world, but most players want it somewhere that doesn't fight with their minimap or hotbar. You can drag it instead of editing files.

Dragging the HUD

Open your inventory or pause screen so the game is not capturing mouse movement for camera control. Click and hold on the HUD panel itself, then drag it to the screen edge you prefer. Release to drop it. The mod snaps the panel to sensible anchor points, so you do not need pixel-perfect placement.

If dragging does not respond, check that the HUD is not locked. Some configurations include a lock or "edit mode" toggle that must be off before the panel accepts mouse input.

Adjusting What Shows

Once positioned, open the mod's configuration screen from the mod list. There you can toggle individual elements — armor slots, held tool durability, and the item rows — so the panel only occupies the space you actually need. Turning off elements you never read makes the remaining ones easier to scan mid-fight.

After any change, leave and re-enter a world or reload the config so the new layout is applied. Test in a safe area before relying on it in PvP.
