Fixing an Inventory HUD+ Overlay That Won't Show or Update

If the panel is missing, stuck, or showing stale information, work through these checks before assuming the mod is broken.

Panel Not Appearing

Confirm the HUD is enabled in the mod's configuration screen — it can be toggled off entirely. Check that no other HUD or overlay mod is drawing over the same corner; move the panel to a different edge to rule out a conflict. If you recently changed GUI scale or resolution, the panel may be positioned off-screen, so drag it back into view.

Values Not Updating

Stale armor or durability usually means the config was changed without reloading. Leave the world and rejoin, or reload the config, so the panel rebuilds its elements. If only some elements are wrong, re-check which inventory positions you enabled — a disabled slot will simply not refresh.

Still Stuck

Reset the mod's config to defaults, then reapply your layout one element at a time. This isolates which setting causes the problem. Test in a fresh world to separate config issues from world-specific ones.
