How do I use the easel block?
Right-click the Easel while holding a painting to open the menu and select which painting design you want to display. To remove the painting, sneak and right-click the Easel with an empty hand.
Where do I find artist villagers?
Artist villagers spawn in Artist Houses, which generate naturally in all village types. Look for the distinctive Artist Houses when exploring villages, and you'll find an Artist villager inside with an Easel as their job site block.
What can I trade with the artist villager?
Artist villagers trade dyed blocks, various other items, and a special exclusive painting that you cannot obtain anywhere else in the mod. Check their trade menu by right-clicking them to see the current offers.
Can I place paintings in small spaces now?
Yes, the mod fixes the desync issue that previously occurred when placing paintings in tight spaces, so you can now decorate cramped areas without problems.
What are the 5 new paintings added by this mod?
The mod adds five new painting designs that you can place using the Easel, giving you more decorative options for your builds beyond the vanilla paintings.
Do I need to craft the easel or can I find it?
Easels generate naturally inside Artist Houses in villages, so you can find them without crafting, though you may also be able to craft them depending on your mod setup.
Can I use regular paintings with the easel?
Yes, you can place any painting—vanilla or from the mod—on the Easel by right-clicking it while holding a painting, then selecting your desired design from the menu.
What happens if I break an easel with a painting on it?
Breaking an Easel should drop both the Easel block and the painting that was displayed on it, allowing you to recover both items.
Can I get the exclusive artist painting without finding a village?
The exclusive painting is only available through trading with Artist villagers, so you'll need to locate an Artist House and establish a trade with them.
Does this mod work with other decoration mods?
The mod is designed to work alongside other mods, though compatibility depends on your specific mod combination; the Easel is a standalone block that shouldn't conflict with most decoration mods.
