Frequently asked questions

How do I know Consumable Optimizer is actually working?
Eat any food item on a server and watch the animation — with the mod active, the eating completes without the usual pause or restart mid-bite. On high ping, the difference is most obvious: food disappears from your hand the moment the bar fills instead of lagging behind.
Do I need to configure anything after installing Consumable Optimizer?
No setup is required — the mod works out of the box by handling consumption client-side. Just install it and eat normally; there are no toggles you need to flip to get the instant-eating behavior.
Does Consumable Optimizer work on servers, or is it singleplayer only?
It works on both, but it shines on multiplayer servers where server round-trip time causes eating delays. The mod handles the eating action on your client while the server still processes the actual food effects.
Will the server kick me or flag me for using Consumable Optimizer?
The mod is client-side and does not send fake packets or bypass server logic — the server still confirms consumption and applies effects. It only removes the visual and input delay on your end, so it behaves like a normal client from the server's perspective.
