How do I make a Mana P2P tunnel?
Craft a P2P tunnel from Applied Energistics 2, then right-click it with any Botania mana item (like a Mana Pool or Mana Tablet) to attune it to mana. Place the attuned tunnel on your ME network and connect the input side to a mana source.
What's the difference between a regular P2P tunnel and a mana one?
Regular P2P tunnels transfer items, fluids, or power between ME networks. Mana P2P tunnels are specifically attuned to transfer mana from Botania into your ME system, allowing you to store and manage mana like any other resource.
Can I use multiple mana P2P tunnels on the same network?
Yes, you can set up multiple mana P2P tunnels to increase total throughput or connect different mana sources. Each tunnel functions independently as long as they're all connected to the same ME network.
How do wired sparks increase mana throughput?
Placing a spark on a Mana P2P tunnel input allows mana to transfer through spark connections instead of just the tunnel itself. Using a dominant spark augment and connecting multiple mana pools to the same spark dramatically increases the rate of mana transfer.
Do I need a Corporea spark to use the Corporea Index with my ME system?
Yes, place a Corporea spark on a public ME Interface connected to your system, then place a Corporea Index nearby. The Index will then be able to request and extract items directly from your ME storage.
Can the Corporea Index request items that are stored in a Mana P2P tunnel?
No, the Corporea Index can only access items stored in your ME system itself. Mana P2P tunnels transfer mana, not items, so they don't interact with Corporea requests.
What happens if I try to attune a P2P tunnel with the wrong item?
The P2P tunnel will only attune to Botania mana items. If you right-click with a non-mana item, nothing will happen and the tunnel will remain unattuned.
Can I automate the Runic Altar through my ME system with this mod?
Yes, you can use a Mana P2P tunnel to supply mana to the Runic Altar, and use ME interfaces or export buses to feed ingredients into it. This allows you to fully automate Runic Altar crafting from your ME system.
Does Applied Botanics work with other AE2 addons?
Applied Botanics is designed to integrate Botania with AE2 and should work alongside other AE2 addons without conflicts, though specific interactions depend on what those addons do.
Why isn't mana flowing into my P2P tunnel?
Make sure the tunnel is properly attuned to mana, the input side is facing your mana source, and your ME network has power. Also verify that the mana source (like a Mana Pool) actually contains mana and isn't blocked by other blocks.
