What Exhaustion Means
Food exhaustion is a hidden value that builds up as you perform actions like sprinting, jumping, attacking, mining, and taking damage. When exhaustion reaches a certain threshold, it consumes saturation or hunger points. AppleSkin can display this exhaustion information so you can see how close you are to losing hunger from your recent activity.
Watching the Indicator
As you play, keep an eye on the exhaustion display that AppleSkin adds to your HUD. It typically appears near the hunger bar and fills or changes as you perform exhausting actions. Sprinting across a plains biome or jumping repeatedly will make it rise faster. When it triggers, you will see your saturation or hunger drop, which the overlay reflects in real time.
Managing Your Actions
If you notice exhaustion building quickly, you can pace yourself. Walk instead of sprint when you are not in a hurry, avoid unnecessary jumping, and take breaks from continuous mining. This is especially useful during boss fights or long building sessions where you want to conserve food. By watching the exhaustion indicator, you learn which activities drain you fastest and can adjust your playstyle to stretch your food supply further.
