Opening the Config

AppleSkin provides in-game configuration so you can change what information appears and where. Open the mod list from the main menu or pause screen, find AppleSkin, and click its config button. Depending on your mod loader, you may also reach it through a config menu mod. The options are grouped by feature, so you can toggle HUD elements and tooltip details separately.

Adjusting HUD Elements

In the config you can enable or disable individual HUD overlays, such as the saturation display, the hunger restoration preview, and the exhaustion indicator. If the overlay feels cluttered, turn off the parts you do not need. You can also change the position or style of some elements so they fit your preferred HUD layout. Experiment with toggling each option and returning to the game to see the effect.

Tuning Tooltips

Tooltip settings let you control whether food tooltips show hunger values, saturation values, or both. You can also choose how detailed the tooltip is. If you only care about saturation when comparing foods, hide the hunger line to reduce clutter. After changing settings, check a food item in your inventory to confirm the tooltip looks the way you want. Adjust until the information is readable at a glance during normal play.
