Frequently asked questions

How do I find Abnormality variants in the world?
Abnormality variants spawn in specific biomes and conditions tied to their thematic nature—check the advancement descriptions and creature pages for location hints. You can also use the Cobblemon command tools to locate spawns or adjust spawn rates in your world settings if needed.
What's the difference between regular Cobblemon and Abnormality variants?
Abnormality variants have custom types, exclusive moves, unique abilities, and special models/textures inspired by Lobotomy Corporation creatures. They function as full Cobblemon catches but with these themed mechanical differences that make them distinct in battle.
Do Abnormality variants have different stats than normal Cobblemon?
Yes—each Abnormality variant is tuned with custom stat distributions to match their thematic role and difficulty. Check the individual creature pages on the wiki to see their specific stat spreads before catching.
Can I breed Abnormality variants with regular Cobblemon?
Breeding compatibility follows standard Cobblemon egg group rules, so variants can breed if they share an egg group with compatible partners. The offspring may or may not retain the Abnormality variant form depending on the parents.
