Frequently asked questions

Do I need Cobblemon installed for this data pack to work?
No, the data pack generates the towns and buildings on its own. However, it's designed to work alongside Cobblemon, so installing both together gives you the full Pokemon experience with wild Pokemon spawning in these towns.
Will these towns generate in my existing world or only in new worlds?
Towns generate as you explore new chunks, so they can appear in existing worlds. However, creating a new world is recommended to ensure the data pack integrates properly with your terrain generation from the start.
Do I have to use Terralith world generator or can I use the default world?
The data pack works with any world generator, but Terralith is recommended because it creates more varied and interesting terrain that complements the Pokemon towns. You can use the default generator, but results may look less polished.
How do I find a specific town like Pallet Town or Cherrygrove City?
Towns spawn randomly as you explore, so you'll need to travel and search. Use the guide 'Finding and Locating Pokemon Towns in Your World' for strategies like checking biomes associated with each region or using coordinates to map your exploration.
