Redstone Ore is a block found in the world of Minecraft. It can be lit or unlit, and it is the source of redstone dust.

Players mine it with a pickaxe, and an iron tool or better is needed for it to drop anything. Breaking it yields Redstone Ore and Redstone Dust. The ore itself is also an ingredient in two recipes.
