Cherry Leaves are a block in Minecraft. When broken, they can drop themselves, a Cherry Sapling, or a Stick. They can also be waterlogged, which lets water fill the same space as the block.

Players break Cherry Leaves to collect saplings for growing more cherry trees, and to gather sticks for crafting. Collecting the leaves themselves makes it possible to place them elsewhere as a building block.
