Fast Leaf Decay exposes a couple of simple options in its config file:

• Decay delay / speed - how quickly unsupported leaves vanish. Lower it for near-instant cleanup, or raise it slightly if you want a brief, more natural fade.
• Drop items on decay - whether decaying leaves can still drop saplings, sticks, and apples. Turn this off if you only want the leaves cleared without loot.

Edit the config and reload the world for changes to take effect.
