Why Resources Matter
The
Enchanting Infuser charges you experience levels and lapis lazuli every time you apply an enchantment. Unlike the vanilla table, you are paying for a chosen enchantment rather than a random roll, so it pays to stock up before you start a big enchanting session.
Farming Experience
- Build a mob farm or use an existing one; killing mobs is the most reliable steady source of experience.
- Mine and smelt ores — smelting in a furnace gives experience when you collect the output.
- Breed and kill animals, or trade with villagers, for smaller but consistent gains.
- Store your levels by not dying; keep your gear safe so you do not lose accumulated experience.
Gathering Lapis Lazuli
- Mine lapis ore, which appears in the overworld at mid-depth levels.
- Trade with cleric villagers, who often sell lapis lazuli.
- Loot chests in dungeons, mineshafts and other structures.
Practical Tips
Keep a chest of lapis next to your infuser so you are not running back and forth. Before applying an expensive enchantment, check the experience cost shown in the interface and make sure you have enough levels — if you are short, the option will not be available. Enchanting several items in one session is more efficient than doing them one at a time.
