Locating Coconut Palms

Coconut trees generate on beaches and warm coastal biomes. Look for tall, curved palm trunks topped with a cluster of fronds and hanging coconuts. The trunk is made of Coconut Log blocks, and the leaves are Palm Leaves. You can spot them from a distance by their distinctive silhouette against the sky.

Harvesting Coconuts

Coconuts hang from the top of the tree. Once you have a Coconut, you can craft it into a Coconut Slice for eating, or use the Coconut Husk for crafting. To grow your own, plant a Coconut on sand or dirt — it will eventually sprout into a new palm tree. Coconut wood can be crafted into planks, doors, trapdoors, fences, and other building blocks. The Coconut Boat is also available for water travel. Keep an eye out for Coconut Crabs near the trees; they drop Crab Claws and Crab Meat when defeated.

Using Coconut Wood

Coconut Logs can be stripped and crafted into planks, which have a warm, tropical tone. Use them for beach huts, docks, or any coastal build. Coconut Cabinets, Doors, and Fence Gates are all available for detailed builds.
