Ecologics FAQ

Find a beach or forest biome and look for coconut trees, azalea trees, or the mod's mobs like squirrels and coconut crabs. Chop an azalea log or knock down a coconut to start collecting the mod's wood and food materials.

Coconut trees grow on beaches and warm coastal areas. You can harvest coconuts from the palm-like fronds and use the logs for coconut wood building blocks.

Coconuts grow on coconut trees and can be knocked down or harvested when ripe. You can eat them, slice them, or use the husk for crafting.

Squirrels can be tamed with their preferred food, then bred once tamed. Check the squirrel guide for the exact taming item and breeding mechanics.

Tap a maple tree with a bucket to collect maple sap, then process it into maple syrup. Maple syrup is used in foods like maple cookies and maple pancakes.

Azalea trees spawn in certain forest biomes and can be chopped for azalea logs, which craft into planks, doors, fences, and other building blocks. Flowering azalea variants give you the flowering wood set.

Coconut crabs are beach mobs you can interact with, and penguins are cold-biome mobs with their own drops like penguin feathers. Both have specific interaction mechanics covered in their guide.

Each wood set in Ecologics has its own boat, and you can also craft chest boats for extra storage. Use the matching planks for the boat type you want.

Ecologics is designed to work alongside other mods and is commonly included in modpacks. Check the configuration section of the wiki for options that affect world generation and mob spawning.

Ecologics is a Java Edition mod, so it does not run on Bedrock Edition. Bedrock players would need a separate equivalent add-on.
