Fixing Takeoff That Does Not Trigger

Check the Obvious First

If clicking with a rocket does nothing, run through these conditions before assuming the mod is broken.

• Confirm the elytra is actually equipped in the chest slot, not sitting in your inventory.
• Confirm the firework rocket is in your main hand, not your offhand.
• Confirm you are standing on solid ground, not swimming, falling, or riding a mount.
• Confirm you are aiming at a valid empty space or block face.

Common Causes

Offhand Rockets

Many players keep rockets in the offhand out of habit. This mod expects the rocket in the main hand, so swap it over.

No Elytra Equipped

Without an elytra on your back, the mod has nothing to launch. Equip it first.

Aiming at a Non-Interactable Block

If your crosshair is on a block that swallows the use action, the rocket may not fire. Look at open air or a plain block face instead.

Try a different spot with more open space around you. If it consistently fails, verify the mod is loaded and enabled for your current world.
