What the Mod Changes and What It Does Not

This mod only affects the moment of takeoff from the ground. Everything else about elytra flight behaves as usual: gliding physics, rocket boosting in midair, and landing are untouched. Understanding this helps you plan routes.

A Simple Flight Routine

1. Land on a safe block.

2. Keep a rocket in your main hand.

3. Aim at open space and use the rocket to relaunch instantly.

4. While gliding, fire additional rockets to climb or speed up as normal.

5. Steer with your look direction to reach your destination.

When to Use It

This is most useful for chain-flying across long distances where you frequently touch down, and for launching from cramped spots where a jump would be unreliable. In wide-open areas with plenty of height, a normal jump takeoff still works fine, so use whichever feels comfortable.

Inventory Habits

Because the mod relies on the main hand, build the habit of moving rockets there after combat or mining. If you switch to a tool, remember to switch back before you try to launch. Keeping a dedicated hotbar slot for rockets makes takeoff consistent.
