Reordering Lists by Dragging

Drag-and-Drop Basics

Draggable Lists replaces the arrow buttons in several menus with direct dragging. Instead of clicking arrows to nudge an entry one step at a time, you grab a row and pull it where you want it. The list updates immediately, so the new order is applied as soon as you drop the entry.

This works in three places:

• The Resource Packs screen, where dragging changes load order.
• The data pack list when creating a new singleplayer world.
• The multiplayer server list, where you can move servers up or down freely.

While you drag, the other rows slide out of the way so you can see exactly where your selection will land. The default vanilla arrow buttons are hidden, keeping pack icons and list entries clear.

If you are worried about moving something by accident, hold Shift while dragging. That prevents unintended moves. The mod runs entirely on the client side, so it does not add items or change core gameplay.
