Platform Availability

Corpse Mod is a Java Edition mod, which means it does not run on Bedrock Edition, Pocket Edition (PE), or consoles. If you searched for a Bedrock or PE version, understand that the Java mod cannot be installed there. Bedrock add-ons and behavior packs work differently and cannot load Java mods.

What Bedrock Players Can Do Instead

Bedrock has its own grave and inventory-protection add-ons that mimic the same idea: keeping your items in a container at your death point. Search the marketplace or add-on sites for a grave or death-chest add-on rather than Corpse Mod specifically. The core experience — a body or container holding your loot until you return — is achievable, just through a different add-on.

Commands and Cross-Platform Notes

On Java, corpse entities respond to standard entity commands, which is how operators clean up stuck bodies. Those commands do not apply on Bedrock because the mod itself does not exist there. If you play Java but on a server, the mod must be installed server-side for corpses to appear at all. Confirm your edition before troubleshooting, since most "it does not work" reports come from trying to run a Java mod on Bedrock.
