Finding the Body

When you die, the mod spawns a corpse entity at your death location holding your inventory. The corpse usually appears where you fell, so head back to that spot. If you died in lava, the void, or another hazardous place, the corpse may be destroyed or unreachable — check whether the mod's config keeps bodies safe in those situations. In most setups the corpse is a visible, humanoid body you can spot from a distance.

Interacting to Loot

Walk up to the corpse and interact with it (default right-click). This opens an inventory screen showing everything you were carrying, including armor and offhand items. Shift-click or drag items into your inventory to reclaim them. Some versions let you take everything at once with a single button or by sneaking and interacting. Once emptied, the corpse typically disappears on its own. If you cannot open it, make sure you are close enough and aiming directly at the body, and that no other player has already looted it.

If the Corpse Is Missing

If no body is present, it may have despawned (see the despawn guide) or been destroyed by the environment. In that case your items are gone unless a backup or grave-protection setting is enabled. Always note your death coordinates so you can return quickly.
