Getting Started with Connectible Chains

What you need

• A supply of Iron Chains (crafted from iron nuggets and an iron ingot, or found in dungeons and other structures).
• Two fences or walls placed a short distance apart to act as anchor points.

Connecting two posts

1. Hold an Iron Chain in your main hand.
2. Right-click the first fence or wall — a small chain knot appears on it.
3. Right-click a second fence or wall nearby — a chain stretches between the two, sagging naturally in the middle.

That is the whole workflow: hold a chain, right-click one post, right-click the next. Keep going post to post to build a continuous railing.
