The chain won't connect. Make sure you are holding a chain item and right-clicking a valid anchor (a fence or a wall), and that the second point is within range — extremely long gaps are not allowed.

How do I remove a chain? Attack (left-click) the chain link or the knot on the post. The chain drops back as an item so nothing is wasted.

Do chains block movement? Yes. Placed chains are solid and act as a barrier for players and mobs.

Does it work in multiplayer? Yes — it is designed to be lightweight and works on servers as well as in singleplayer worlds.

Do I need any other mod? No extra items or recipes are required; the mod reuses vanilla chains.
