The Aether is a Minecraft mod that adds a sky dimension called the Aether, reached through a portal. It features floating islands, new mobs, bosses, and unique blocks and items.

You construct a portal with a Glowstone frame and light it with a water bucket in the middle. This activates the portal and lets you step through.
