Winterly — Guide
The snow and ice palette
Twenty-eight blocks, most of them built for construction rather than display.
Snow - Dense Snow, plus a slab and stairs — a firm version of snow that holds an edge. - Snow Bricks, plus a slab and stairs — the tidier, laid finish. - Snowball Wall — a low wall that reads as piled snowballs. - Snowguy — a built figure to stand outside the door.
Ice - Icicle — hangs from the underside of a block; three different craft sizes. - Icicle Block and Packed Icicle Block — solid versions for bulk building. - Icicle Bars and Icicle Pane — the thin shapes, for windows and railings.
Trim and plants - Garland Lights and Rainy Garland Lights — strung lights for eaves and doorways. - Frozen Flower and Frozen Grass — cold ground cover that generates in the world.
Gift boxes
Nine colours: black, blue, cyan, green, orange, purple, red, white and yellow.
They are containers, not decoration. Place one down, then right-click it to put items inside. To pick one up with its contents still in it, use Silk Touch — breaking it any other way does not keep the box intact. How much a single box holds is a setting you can change.
Because they take a colour and stack neatly, a row of them under a tree works as storage and decoration at the same time.
Cryomarble
A cold-weather stone with a full tool set behind it.
- Raw Cryomarble Shard generates underground, and Cryomarble Shard is what you get from it.
- Cryomarble is the refined material; Cryomarble Block stores nine of it and can be broken back down.
- Tools: axe, hoe, pickaxe, shovel and sword.
Generation of cryomarble is a setting, so a world can be run with the building blocks and no new ore at all.
Things to wear
Three kinds of cosmetic item:
- Scarves — red, green, blue, white and rainbow.
- Santa hats — red and blue.
- Candy canes — red, green and blue.
Scarves and hats are worn in the accessory slots rather than in armour slots: hats use the head slot and scarves use the necklace slot. That means an accessory mod has to be installed for them to be equipped — with Curios API present they can be worn; without it they still exist as items but there is no slot to put them in.
All of them are crafted; none of them changes how much damage you take.
