Soliciting Carpets and the No Soliciting Banner are the mod's mob-repelling tools. They stop unwanted spawns and keep hostile mobs from wandering into your builds.

Carpets

Soliciting Carpets come in all sixteen dye colors plus trapped variants. Place them on floors in the areas you want to protect. The trapped versions add an extra function, typically triggering when something steps on them, so use trapped carpets where you want detection as well as deterrence. Cover doorways, spawn-proof your base interior, and line the perimeter of farms.

The Banner

Place the No Soliciting Banner like a normal banner. It marks an area as off-limits to raiders and similar unwanted visitors, which is useful around villages, raid-prone bases, and pillager-adjacent builds.

The No Raider Block

Pair the banner with the No Raider Block for stronger protection. The block is designed specifically to prevent raiders from targeting or entering the area, so wall it into your defenses.

Tips

  • Use colored carpets to match your floor so protection is invisible.
  • Combine carpets at entrances with the banner overhead for layered defense.
  • Trapped carpets double as intruder alarms when wired to redstone.
