Conjuring Mod — Guide
Getting Started
To begin your journey into soul manipulation, you must first obtain the Conjuring Enchiridion. This guidebook contains the fundamental knowledge required to operate the mod's machinery.
The Conjuring Enchiridion
Crafted by combining a Book and Soul Soil (or Soul Sand) in a standard crafting grid. It is divided into three primary chapters: Basics, Rituals, and Soul Alloy Tools.
Soul Harvesting
Before you can build a spawner, you need souls. The Soul Snatcher is a specialized sword used to harvest Conjuration Essence from mobs. When a mob is killed with this weapon, there is a base 10% chance for it to drop essence. This chance can be increased with the Looting enchantment.
Soul Mechanics
Souls are the primary currency of the mod. They manifest as Conjuration Essence, which comes in various tiers depending on the strength of the mob killed.

Note: Higher-tier essence can be broken down into multiple pieces of lower-tier essence by shift-right-clicking on a solid block.
The Soulfire Forge
The Soulfire Forge is the primary workstation for creating advanced materials. It requires Soul Fire to operate, which must be lit manually using a Flint and Steel or a Dispenser.

The Ritual of Extraction
To create a spawner for a specific mob, you must perform a ritual to trap its soul within a Conjuring Focus.
Ritual Setup
- Soul Funnel: Place a Soul Funnel on the ground and fill it with Soul Sand.
- Pedestals: Place 4 Blackstone Pedestals around the funnel (exactly 2 blocks away in cardinal directions).
- Linking: Use a Conjuring Scepter to link each pedestal to the funnel (Shift-Right Click Pedestal, then Shift-Right Click Funnel).
- Activation: Place a Conjuring Focus into the funnel. Lead the target mob onto the funnel and right-click the funnel with the Scepter.
Success Rate: The ritual is not guaranteed to succeed. To improve your odds, place the mob's common drops (e.g., Rotten Flesh for Zombies) onto the pedestals before starting.
The Conjurer (Spawner)
The Conjurer is the heart of any mob farm. It is a block that, when provided with a captured soul (Conjuring Focus), will spawn that entity indefinitely.
Customization and Upgrades
You can upgrade the Conjurer by inserting Charms. Each Conjurer has a dedicated UI where these charms can be placed. You can stack up to 8 of each charm type.

Construction
To build a Conjurer, you need a Gem Socket and a Conjuring Focus containing a soul. These are combined at a Conjuring Table.
