Blocks
Steve's Carts adds several functional blocks to Minecraft, primarily focused on cart assembly and automation. There are 5 blocks available.
- Cart Assembler: The central block for constructing custom carts. It requires a Hull, modules, and fuel (like coal or charcoal) to operate.
- Cargo Manager: This block facilitates the automatic transfer of items to and from passing carts.
- Advanced Detector Rail: A specialized rail that can stop a cart at a Cargo Manager for automated loading or unloading.
- Cargo Distributor: An upgrade for the Cargo Manager, enhancing its ability to interact with item transportation systems like pipes.
- Module Toggler: Allows for the dynamic enabling or disabling of specific modules on a cart as it traverses the rail.
Recipes
Crafting recipes are integral to Steve's Carts, primarily for the Cart Assembler and its components. While specific recipes for every item and module are extensive, the foundational recipe for the Cart Assembler is key.
Cart Assembler
To craft a Cart Assembler, players typically need: * 11 Iron Ingots * 8 Redstone * 2 Gold Ingots * 4 Stone
The process involves first crafting two Simple PCBs using Gold, Iron, and Redstone, and then combining these PCBs with the remaining Iron and Stone to create the Cart Assembler.
Cart Assembly
Assembling a custom cart in the Cart Assembler requires: 1. A chosen Hull placed in the top-left slot of the GUI. 2. Desired Modules inserted into the assembler. 3. Fuel (e.g., Coal or Charcoal) in the left slot of the two bottom-right slots.
Once these components are present, activating the 'Assemble' button will construct the custom cart, which appears in the right slot.
