Hold sneak while breaking

If you want to remove crops entirely — to redesign a farm, move it, or just clear space — hold your sneak key (default: Shift) while breaking each crop. While sneaking, the mod will not consume a seed to replant, so the crop breaks and the farmland is left bare. This is the intended way to disable the feature on demand.

Clear a whole field

Keep sneak held down and walk along the rows breaking every plant. Because the replant is suppressed for each block you break while sneaking, you can wipe out an entire field without leaving stray seedlings behind. Release sneak when you want normal auto-replanting to resume.

Why this matters

Without sneaking, every crop you break would immediately be replaced by a seedling, which makes it impossible to actually empty a plot. Sneaking is the toggle that turns the automatic behavior off for the blocks you are currently breaking, so you stay in full control.

After clearing

Once the field is empty you can re-till, re-plant by hand, or repurpose the area. Remember that farmland without a crop may revert to dirt over time if nothing is planted on it, so replant or remove the farmland if you are not using it.
