How do I start using the Replanting Crops Mod?
Just install the mod and harvest any mature crop that drops seeds, such as wheat, carrots, potatoes, or beetroots. The mod automatically uses one of the dropped seeds to replant the crop in the same spot, so no setup or configuration is needed.
Does the mod replant crops automatically when I break them?
Yes, when you break a mature crop and it drops a seed, the mod consumes one seed from the drops and replants it in the same block position. This happens instantly as part of the harvest, so the replanted crop appears right away.
How do I stop the mod from replanting so I can clear out my farm?
Hold the sneak button while harvesting. As long as you are sneaking, the mod will not replant any crops, letting you break everything and collect all drops without new plants appearing.
Why isn't my crop being replanted?
Make sure you are not sneaking, since sneaking disables replanting. Also check that the crop actually dropped a seed or planting item, because the mod needs a seed in the drops to replant; if the drop is empty or the seed is missing, nothing will be replanted.
Does the mod work with carrots and potatoes?
Yes, carrots and potatoes are supported. When you harvest a mature carrot or potato plant, the mod uses one of the dropped carrots or potatoes to replant the crop in the same spot.
Can I harvest a whole field at once with this mod?
Yes, you can break as many crops as you want in one go. Each crop you break will be replanted individually using its own drops, so you can run through a full field and leave it replanted behind you.
How do I auto-replant nether wart?
Harvest mature nether wart on soul sand as you normally would. The mod will use one of the dropped nether wart items to replant it on the same soul sand block, so it works the same way as overworld crops.
Does the mod replant cocoa beans on jungle wood?
Yes, cocoa beans are supported. When you break a mature cocoa bean pod on jungle wood, the mod uses one of the dropped cocoa beans to replant it on the same jungle wood block.
Does the Replanting Crops Mod work with other mods or on servers?
The mod is minimal and generally works alongside other farming mods, but behavior can vary depending on what those mods change about crops or drops. On servers, it must be installed on the server side for replanting to work for players.
Will this mod cause lag or performance problems on a big farm?
