Breaking Veins and Columns

Ore Excavation is a mining utility mod that lets you break more than one block at a time. Instead of mining a vein of ore block by block, you break one block and the mod extends the break to the connected blocks of the same type.

To use it, mine a block while the excavate action is active. The mod then searches outward from that block for matching blocks and breaks them together, following the shape and size limits set in the configuration. The same mechanic works on columns of identical blocks, so you can clear a vertical stack in one action rather than swinging at each block.

Because shapes and limits are configurable, what gets broken depends on how the mod is set up on your world or server. If excavation is not triggering, check that the feature is enabled and that the block you are mining is one the configuration allows. The mod is a mining utility only; it does not add new ores, tools, or machines.
