The Music Player

Place the gramophone, then right-click it holding a written disc. The record drops onto the turntable and starts turning, note particles rise out of the horn, and the track name appears on screen for everyone in range. If the song carried lyrics, they scroll as it plays.

Right-click the block again with an empty hand to take the disc back and stop the music.

The player also answers to redstone. A signal starts and stops playback, so a lever behind a wall, a pressure plate in a doorway or a daylight sensor on a roof can all drive it. That is what turns a single gramophone into a doorbell, a shop jingle, or a night-time ambience that switches itself on.
