What It Changes

The pack is audio only. It ships one sound definition file and 23 .ogg clips.

Because it overrides nothing visual, it can sit above or below any texture pack you already use without conflicting with it.

Where You Hear It

The ambience triggers in dark, enclosed spaces underground, so the new clips show up everywhere the vanilla ones do:

  • Ordinary stone and deepslate caves
  • Dripstone caves
  • Lush caves
  • The deep dark
  • Abandoned mineshafts
  • Any unlit room you have dug out yourself

Turn subtitles on in the accessibility settings if you want to see Eerie noise appear each time one plays.

Installing the Pack

  1. Download the pack .zip file.
  2. Place the .zip into your .minecraft/resourcepacks folder (do not unzip it).
  3. Launch Minecraft and open Options -> Resource Packs.
  4. Move More Cave Sounds from the left (available) list to the right (selected) list.
  5. Click Done and head underground.

The pack can be turned on or off at any time from the same screen.
