What Magma Core Is

Magma Core is a library mod: it adds no blocks, items, mobs, recipes or world generation of its own. It exists so that other mods can share one copy of the same groundwork instead of each shipping its own.

When a mod lists Magma Core as a dependency, the game refuses to start without it — the loader stops with a missing dependency screen naming magmacore. Installing it fixes that; it does nothing visible on its own.
