Check Shader Compatibility

Ensure your graphics driver is up to date. Potato Lite is designed for broad hardware support, but outdated drivers can cause lighting artifacts or flickering. Update your GPU drivers through your manufacturer's website.

Verify Shader Settings Are Applied

Return to shader options and confirm all settings saved correctly. Sometimes changes don't apply if the menu closes unexpectedly. Reapply settings and reload your world if lighting looks wrong.

Disable Conflicting Features

If you see banding, flickering, or uneven color gradients, try disabling advanced lighting features one at a time. Shadow quality and ambient occlusion settings sometimes conflict on older hardware. Test each adjustment to isolate the problem.

Reset to Defaults

If issues persist, reset Potato Lite to default settings. This clears any conflicting customizations. Then gradually re-enable features to identify which setting causes the problem. Document what works for your specific hardware setup.
