Enter the Nether

Create a Nether portal and step through. Each Nether biome now displays its own distinct color tint, replacing the default red atmosphere.

Identify Biome Colors

As you explore, you'll notice:

  • Crimson forests receive warm, reddish tones that enhance the biome's theme
  • Warped forests get cooler, blue-green tints
  • Basalt deltas display darker, more neutral colorization
  • Soul sand valleys have their own atmospheric mood

Explore Multiple Biomes

Travel between different Nether biomes to see the full range of color shifts. The shader's tinting is automatic—no configuration needed. This makes navigation easier and each biome feel more distinct.

Combine with Lighting

The biome tints work alongside Frangilus's warm cartoon lighting. The combination creates a cohesive, stylized look that makes the Nether feel less hostile and more visually interesting.
