Do I need to do anything after installing the pack or does it just work?

The pack works automatically once installed—just load a world and your tools will appear in 3D when you hold them. Make sure the resource pack is enabled in your world settings if you don't see the changes right away.

Why do my tools look flat in my inventory but 3D in my hand?

That's intentional—the pack updates both the handheld 3D models and the flat inventory textures to match each other's style. If your inventory icons still look different, try reloading your resource packs in the settings menu.

Does this work with enchanted tools?

Yes, enchanted tools keep their glow effect while displaying the new 3D model when you hold them. The enchantment shimmer appears on top of the 3D geometry.

Can I use this pack with other resource packs at the same time?

Yes, but pack order matters—place Trusty Tools higher in your resource pack list if you want its models to take priority over conflicting textures from other packs. If tools still look wrong, the other pack may be overriding the same files.

Do the 3D arrows actually look different when I fire them?

Yes, arrows you shoot and arrows in your inventory both use the new 3D design to match the bow's updated look. You'll see them stick in blocks and mobs with the new model.

Does the mace look different from other tools?

The mace gets a completely custom 3D handheld shape that's distinct from pickaxes and axes, giving it a unique chunky appearance when you swing it. It matches the style of the other tools while standing out as its own weapon.

Will this pack slow down my game or affect performance?

Resource packs have minimal performance impact since they only change how things look, not how the game runs. You may see a tiny difference on very low-end systems, but most players won't notice any slowdown.

What happens to my shield—does it get a 3D model too?

The shield's appearance changes in your inventory to match the new style, but it doesn't get a 3D handheld model like weapons and tools do. The visual update keeps it consistent with the pack's overall look.

Do bows and crossbows look different from each other?

Yes, both weapons receive custom 3D models, and each has its own distinct design that reflects its different function. When you aim either one, you'll see the detailed 3D geometry.

If I remove the pack, will my world be affected?

No, removing the pack only changes how things look—your blocks, items, and progress stay exactly the same. Your tools will just revert to their default flat appearance.
