Identifying the Problem

Occasionally, slot boundaries can become hard to distinguish when playing in very dark areas or with certain shader packs. The worn metal texture may blend too much with the background, making inventory organization difficult.

Checking Your Settings

First, verify that your resource pack is fully loaded by checking Options > Resource Packs and confirming Obelisk Frontline Visuals is active. Reload the pack if needed. Then test your inventory in a well-lit area (like near torches or lava) to confirm boundaries are visible.

Shader Compatibility

If using shader mods, they may override the pack's contrast settings. Try disabling shaders temporarily to see if boundaries reappear. Some shaders darken UI elements too aggressively—check your shader's configuration for UI brightness or contrast sliders.

Manual Adjustment

Edit the pack's texture files to increase the contrast between slot borders and the panel background. Brighten the border lines slightly or darken the panel fill to create more visual separation. This restores readability without losing the tactical aesthetic.
