How do I start leveling in this mod?
Defeat hostile mobs or mine valuable ores like diamonds and ancient debris to earn EXP. Open your character menu with K (default) to see your progress and spend skill points on the six core categories.
What's the difference between the two leveling modes?
You can choose between an independent RPG EXP pool (separate from vanilla XP) or use your standard vanilla XP levels for progression. Configure this choice in /ascend config based on your preferred playstyle.
Do I need to be the one who kills the mob to get EXP?
No—EXP is split among all players based on actual damage dealt, so you get credit for your contribution even if someone else lands the final hit.
