Frequently asked questions

When do I get the village map?
You receive the village map automatically in your inventory the first time you spawn into a new world. If you don't see it, check your inventory or nearby ground in case it was dropped.
What if there's no village near my spawn?
The mod locates the nearest village within the world and maps it for you. If the nearest village is very far away, the map will still point you toward it, though you may need to travel a significant distance.
Can I get another village map if I lose the first one?
The mod only gives you one map at world start. If you lose it, you'll need to explore manually or use other navigation methods to find villages.
Does the map update if I find a different village?
No, the initial map points to one specific village. You'll need to create new maps through normal Minecraft crafting if you want to locate other villages.
