Adjusting What You See
Open the mod's config screen from the mod list or its in-game options menu. Here you control how cues are drawn so they stay readable instead of cluttering your screen.
Key Settings to Tune
- Cue size and opacity: smaller, more transparent cues reduce screen clutter in busy areas; larger cues help when you are actively hunting a single sound.
- Range or distance limit: lowering the range hides far-away cues so only nearby sounds show, which is useful inside a base.
- Fade or lifetime: shorten how long a cue lingers so old sounds disappear quickly and you only track recent ones.
- Toggle key: bind a key to switch the overlay on and off so you can hide it during building or screenshots.
Practical Workflow
Set a short lifetime and moderate range for everyday play. When you go mob-hunting, temporarily raise the range and lengthen the cue lifetime so distant sounds stay visible long enough to follow. Switch back afterward to keep your screen clean.
