You need Unfired Tea Cup and Unfired Teapot before you can brew anything. Shape the clay into these unfired forms first. Once you have them, they must be fired in a ceramics:kiln. The kiln is the only station that turns unfired clay into usable ceramics here, so a furnace will not finish the job. After firing, you get a Tea Cup and a Teapot.

Brewing Your First Cup

With a Tea Cup in hand, you still need water and a tea bag. Fill the cup to get a Cup of Water, then combine it with the appropriate tea bag to produce the matching drink. The mod includes Tea Bag, Black Tea Bag, Green Tea Bag, Chamomile Tea Bag, Dandelion Tea Bag, and Chorus Tea Bag. Each bag maps to its own cup: Cup of Black Tea, Cup of Green Tea, Cup of Chamomile Tea, Cup of Dandelion Tea, and Cup of Chorus Tea. The Teapot lets you prepare tea in larger batches rather than one cup at a time, which is worth building once you have a steady supply of Tea Leaf and other ingredients. Keep your fired Tea Cup and Teapot on hand — they are reusable vessels, not consumed like the bags.
