Configure Your Target Species
Open the customization menu by pressing ; or typing /ch config. Navigate to the Custom Spawn Alerts section and select which creatures you want to track. You can add multiple species to your watchlist.
Choose Your Notification Method
Decide how you want to be alerted when your target spawns:
- Chat notifications: Messages appear in your chat log
- Sound alerts: Audio cue plays when a match is found
- Glowing outlines: Nearby matching creatures glow visibly in the world
- Discord webhooks: Notifications sent to a Discord channel (requires webhook URL setup)
You can enable multiple alert types simultaneously for the same species.
Start Tracking
Once configured, use /ch recorder start to begin monitoring spawns in your current session. The mod will passively watch for your target creatures as you explore. Use /ch recorder pause if you need a temporary break, or /ch recorder stop to end the session entirely.
Press M at any time to mute active alert sounds without disabling other notification types.
